Trade Marketing Manager DACH
Hybrid
Job description
Why we are here
Tony’s Chocolonely is committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. We are an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes an impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example, demonstrating that ethical practices and success can go hand in hand. Through Tony's Open Chain (TOC), mission allies like Albert Heijn, Ben & Jerry's, Jokolade, and Aldi have embraced a fairer, more transparent supply chain for their chocolate.
What you will do
We're looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join our DACH team in Hamburg. In this role, your goal is to develop Tony's brand with our retail partners, to bring our mission across on trade, and to extend our impactful campaigns to incredible in-store brand experiences.
Your trade marketing knowledge and expertise in spotting trends, watchouts, and growth opportunities will help us to stay ahead of the curve and increase our presence with new and existing retail customers. You are responsible for coordinating new product launches in stores, managing all aspects from launch to evaluation.
You will be part of the marketing team based in Hamburg and report directly to the Head of Marketing DACH. You will collaborate closely with the sales teams to gather and shape recommendations and best practices.
All wrapped up
- Create impact on trade with POS materials that bring our brand and campaigns to life in retail stores. You enhance our current set of tools and collaborate with the marketing team to translate new product launches into impactful shelf solutions. You regularly meet with the sales team and field force and visit stores to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of POS materials.
- Effectively manage the trade marketing budgets.
- Participate in trade fairs in Germany and Austria, and make sure our Tony's booth represents the brand in the most appealing way.
- Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans for new products in the DACH region. Develop and write sell-in presentations to support successful product launches and market penetration. Monitor and evaluate the performance of new products post-launch and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate the product portfolio and develop recommendations on how to optimize portfolio success, including communication strategies and inventory management.
- Run the weekly meetings to facilitate seamless collaboration between the marketing and sales teams.

- You dare to think big, make choices and develop a clear plan for your market. Achieving big ambitions means achieving more impact!
- You are a great communicator and are comfortable building and presenting data, making firm and insightful recommendations as you go.
