What you will do

We are looking for an operational technology all-rounder to keep all Tony's Open Chain (TOC) tech and data systems running smoothly. Why tech and data? Because most of TOC's technology focuses on gathering and analysing farmer data, and that is at the heart of our mission. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for application support across internal and external TOC stakeholders in Europe and West Africa. You will manage the support backlog, test solutions, configure systems, and maintain user documentation, all while looking for ways to make things work better. You will work closely with the TOC Tech & Data Team, the wider IT team, and development partners. The role is part of the IT team, based in Amsterdam, and reports to the Sr. IT Business Partner TOC. • Manage 1st and 2nd line application support: own and prioritise the support backlog across TOC's ticketing systems, resolve issues, and escalate to the IT Business Partner when needed.

• Support TOC operations: help the TOC team execute key processes with a technology component, including child labour monitoring and remediation (CLMRS), operational traceability, invoicing, farmer master data, user management, and reporting.

• Execute quality assurance: join refinement and planning sessions with development teams, create and execute test cases, and safeguard quality across all TOC-owned systems.

• Configure IT systems: set up and maintain system configurations to match agreed requirements across platforms such as Beantracker, Salesforce, Farmtracker, and Business Central (ERP).

• Build and maintain user documentation: ensure all key end-user processes are documented and that internal and external stakeholders receive the training they need.

• Collaborate on data analysis: provide ad hoc support to the TOC Data Analysts by cleaning, validating, or visualising data when needed.

• Drive continuous improvement: challenge existing solutions and propose efficiency improvements to processes and systems.

Our new flavor

• Experience in application management, system administration, or a similar IT support role.

• Hands-on experience with testing, QA, or development-related work.

• A genuine interest in and curiosity about technology and data. You do not need to know everything, but you love learning and figuring things out.

• Comfortable working with multiple systems and platforms. Experience with tools like Salesforce, ERP systems, or data collection platforms is a plus.

• Ability to juggle priorities, manage a varied workload, and stay structured when things are moving fast.

• A supportive and collaborative mindset. Not everything is set in stone in this role, so you thrive in an environment where you can shape things as you go.

• Strong problem-solving skills. You see a challenge and your first instinct is to dig in and fix it.

• Able to manage a broad, international group of stakeholders across Europe and West Africa with patience and clarity.

• Proficient in English, both verbal and written. French is a big plus.

• Basic knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
