Supply and Operations Manager UK&I (maternity cover)

Job description

Why we are here

Tony's Chocolonely is committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. We are an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example and prove that business success and social impact can go hand in hand.

As Tony's continues to grow across the UK & Ireland, operational excellence becomes increasingly important to ensure our chocolate reaches customers in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost. Strong planning, effective logistics partnerships and scalable supply chain processes enable sustainable growth, support our commercial ambitions and help us maximize our impact.

What you will do

As our Supply and Operations Manager UK&I (maternity cover), you are the operational business partner for the UK&I organization and a key member of the UK&I Leadership Team. Your mission is to ensure flawless operational performance across the market while building the planning and logistics capabilities needed to support future growth.

You lead the UK&I Operations team and own the end-to-end planning, inventory and logistics agenda for the market. From shaping the local logistics strategy and budget to driving demand planning, supply planning and customer fulfillment, you ensure our products are available for customers while balancing service levels, inventory health and cost efficiency.

You are trusted to translate commercial ambitions into operational reality. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Planning teams and external logistics partners, you enable better decision-making through strong forecasting, robust inventory management and effective execution. At the same time, you build scalable processes and tools that can serve as a blueprint for other growing markets.

As a member of the UK&I Management Team, you bring an operations perspective to strategic decisions, help shape the market culture and create strong connections between the UK&I organization and Tony's European planning and operations teams.

All wrapped up

  • Lead the UK&I operations agenda and serve as the operational business partner to the UK&I Leadership Team, shaping market strategy, logistics priorities and operational decision-making that supports sustainable growth.

  • Own the UK&I logistics budget and continuously identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency through optimized order frequencies, minimum order quantities, transport strategies and customer delivery models.

  • Lead the market S&OP process, ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Finance and Planning teams while driving forecast accuracy, risk management and proactive decision-making across short-, medium- and long-term horizons.

  • Own inventory performance across the UK&I market, balancing product availability, stock health and working capital while preventing waste, write-offs and obsolete inventory.

  • Ensure excellent customer logistics performance by overseeing the end-to-end order-to-delivery process, maintaining high service levels and driving continuous improvements in customer fulfillment.

  • Lead co-packing and promotional execution activities, working closely with commercial teams and external partners to successfully deliver displays, multipacks and customer-specific initiatives on time and within budget.

  • Manage strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers, including performance management, cost control, contract governance and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure scalable and future-fit logistics capabilities.

  • Build and implement a future-proof S&OP and integrated planning framework for the UK&I market, establishing processes, governance and tooling that improve forecast accuracy, case fill rates, inventory efficiency and long-term planning maturity.

  • Drive operational excellence through process optimization, digitization initiatives and supply network development, including the evaluation and implementation of new logistics and operational partners where needed.
