What you will do  

We’re looking for an S&OP Transformation Expert – Supply to join our global team in Amsterdam! Your primary mission? Tony’s Chocolonely is scaling globally and needs to translate demand into feasible supply plans, optimize inventory and cashflow, and ensure readiness for new product launches. As an S&OP Transformation Expert, you will drive the design and implementation of Supply Planning related S&OP processes and APS functionalities to enable scalable growth and decision-making You’ll partner with Operations, Procurement and Finance to Lead cross-functional forums and manage projects to improve planning capabilities and change adoption. and enable proactive decision-making and aligned with our mission to end exploitation in cocoa.

All wrapped up 

  • Develop and execute project plans for process and system enhancements. 

  • Champion APS tool implementation and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of best practices in supply planning and transformation. 

  • Translate demand forecasts into capacity and material requirements across the rolling 5–24-month horizon. 

  • Partner with Operations and Procurement to shape sourcing requirements and strategies (factory, co-man, co-pack and materials). 

  • Facilitate and lead Supply Review and S&OP sessions and play a key role in S&OE to ensure seamless alignment between supply and demand. 

  • Create clear visibility on capacity and utilization, spotting bottlenecks early and driving proactive solutions. 

  • Partner with NPD teams early in the process to ensure every new product launch is fully supply-ready. 

  • Monitor inventory levels like a pro — balancing availability, cost, and efficiency to avoid stockouts or excess. 

  • Lead scenario planning to explore sourcing and capacity trade-offs, enabling agile, informed decision-making. 

 

Job requirements

Our new Ideal Edition  

  • Supply Planning is your expertise (5 years+)! From MRP and planning tools, to aligning supply plans with financial and strategic goals. in FMCG or consumer goods. 

  • You have built supply planning and S&OP processes from scratch. 

  • Hands-on APS tool experience (design, implementation, optimization) with strong project management skills 

  • You like rolling up your sleeves and get excited about bringing creative solutions to the table solving big & small problems.  

  • You leverage your collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, to build strong relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 

  • Builder mindset with ability to work independently and deliver transformation 

  • You raise the bar: challenge yourself and team Tony’s to increase our ambition and to accomplish our mission. Making mistakes along the way and learning from them.  

  • We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the office on average 3 days a week. More is fine too!
