S&OP Manager
- Hybrid
Job description
Why we are here
Tony’s Chocolonely is committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. We are an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes an impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example, demonstrating that ethical practices and success can go hand in hand. Through Tony's Open Chain (TOC), mission allies like Albert Heijn, Ben & Jerry's, Jokolade, and Aldi have embraced a fairer, more transparent supply chain for their chocolate.
What you will do
We’re looking for an S&OP Manager to join our global team in Amsterdam! Your primary mission? Shape and drive our global S&OP. Your strategic improvement mindset ensures that our supply and demand planning process is a key pillar to support Tony’s growth and delivers excellent business performance. You’ll help improve our forecast accuracy, optimize operational efficiency to better meet customer requirements and ensure that every relevant team in the business is engaged and owns their piece of the process.
As our new S&OP Manager you'll have a unique chance to improve our strategic and operational S&OP processes. You'll lead one direct report and collaborate closely with key global internal stakeholders and manufacturers. You will be part of our operations team based in Amsterdam and report directly to the Head of Planning and Operations Europe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven leader who’s ready to take a high-growth business to the next level. If you’re skilled in strategic demand planning and change management, and passionate about making a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you!
All wrapped up:
Create a future-proof global S&OP process roadmap and ensure successful implementation by educating and coaching business stakeholders.
Advance our supply and demand plans to ensure we get to serve our customers in an optimised and efficient way.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure that demand forecasts, inventory management, and supply plans align with financial goals.
Ensure that production capacity is aligned with demand by identifying capacity constraints of our supply network, closing gaps, and managing risks with relevant teams.
Set up the demand planning team for future growth. Lead and coach one direct report and introduce forecasting methods to improve accuracy and meet business targets.
Drive system (Jedox) improvements for demand and supply planning. Develop tooling and dashboards to provide key insights to the wider business.

Our ideal New Edition
Experienced in sales and operations planning (S&OP) or integrated business planning (IBP) globally with solid foundation in demand management in the consumer goods industry.
Demonstrated experience in change management and in setting up and developing strategic global processes.
Strategic and analytical mindset combined with the eagerness to roll up sleeves and execute creative solutions independently.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communicator and ability to influence key external and internal stakeholders across various levels and markets.
You raise the bar: challenge yourself and team Tony’s to increase our ambition and to accomplish our mission. Making mistakes along the way and learning from them.

Believe wholeheartedly in Tony’s purpose. You live our core values: outspoken, willful, entrepreneurial and makes you smile.
Our benefits (the icing on the cake)
At Tony's you will get the opportunity to be part of something extraordinary; first, by making a real impact in the world but also enjoying the nice benefits we provide as you help us succeed. We also offer a wide range of additional benefits, including a lunch, company bonus, minimum of 28 holidays, inspirational team updates, unforgettable quarterly events, and unlimited chocolate. But we also know chocolate will not cover the bills, so we have made sure your salary is just as rewarding. For this role that means a salary between €74-93k on a yearly basis.
Sounds like you?
Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Look no further! If you are ready to take the chocolate industry to new heights with us, we would love to hear from you. Please send your direct application, no agencies. We cannot wait to hear from you!
