Senior Talent Acquisition Partner

  • Hybrid

Job description

It’s holiday season at Tony’s! We’re a bit slower on replies right now, but your application is important to us, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience and wish you a lovely holiday season!

Why we are here
Tony’s Chocolonely is committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. We are an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example, demonstrating that ethical practices and success can go hand in hand. Through Tony's Open Chain (TOC), mission allies like Albert Heijn, Ben & Jerry's, Jokolade, and Aldi have embraced a fairer, more transparent supply chain for their chocolate too.

What you will do
We are now looking for a
Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to help us build teams of changemakers that turn our mission into real-world impact. You’ll be the strategic driver of how we attract, assess, and hire brilliant people across markets like the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, the US, Sweden and Germany. You’ll lead kick‑off conversations to clarify the hiring strategy for positions across seniority levels, write compelling job ads to promote the roles, and design sourcing approaches that proactively reach into underrepresented communities to diversify the candidate pipelines. Drawing on market and talent insights, you’ll balance creativity with consistency to build diverse candidate pipelines and ensure our hiring process is fair, structured, and human from first touch point to offer negotiations.

Day to day, you’ll run talent screenings and structured interviews, keep the rhythm of the process by coordinating schedules and communications, and serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers coaching them on the best hiring approach, bringing data to the table, and facilitating confident, bias‑aware decision making. You’ll champion candidate experience, uphold quality of hire, and partner closely across the business to raise the bar for our teams and our impact. You will be part of the People and Culture team based in Amsterdam.

All wrapped up in this role you will

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment: Oversee the entire recruitment process from strategy meetings to offer negotiations in our global, fast-moving organization.

  • Source top talent: Proactively identify and attract diverse and highly capable candidates (even though we do get a lot of applications) to diversify the candidate pipelines.

  • Build relationships: Foster strong connections with hiring managers and business partners to enhance collaboration and transparency; train teams on unbiased hiring and interviewing.

  • Act as a talent advisor: Provide expert guidance and influence in the selection process, focusing on hiring decisions and process improvements.

  • Enhance candidate experience: Make people smile and feel seen, heard and engaged in every step of the recruitment process, delivering personable and memorable experiences.

  • Utilize data: Use data to identify opportunities for process improvements and share best practices to elevate our hiring standards.

  • Champion DE&I: Lead on diversity hiring, bringing new initiatives and ideas to life.

Job requirements

Our new flavor:

  • Significant strategic recruitment experience, overseeing end-to-end processes at scale-up environments and managing diverse hiring needs in fast-paced, international settings. Adept at professionalizing and structuring recruitment in growing organizations to drive strategic growth and scalability.

  • You are seen as an expert in talent acquisition with a demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and secure top talent through proactive sourcing, leading to successful key hires across critical business roles.

  • You’re passionate about matching the right talent to each team, prioritising quality over quantity, because every hire shapes the future of a growing organisation.

  • You have led recruitment best practices and have extensive experience in sourcing, selection, interviewing, and inclusive hiring. You have effectively transferred knowledge to hiring teams and colleagues, enhancing recruitment practices, and achieving strong results.

  • You are a data-driven decision maker who utilizes data to identify process improvements and make objective, informed decisions. You leverage insights to refine recruitment strategies and drive successful outcomes.

  • You are independently driving recruitment initiatives, managing complex projects, and delivering impactful results.

  • Very strong project management and prioritization skills - ability to balance priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders with care and clarity.

  • Strong business understanding and strategic mindset - ability to see the big picture, but not afraid to roll up your sleeves to ensure brilliant execution.

  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced scaleup environment, bringing clarity and cohesion across diverse teams.

  • We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the Amsterdam office on average 3 days a week. More is fine too!

  • Believe wholeheartedly in Tony’s purpose. You live our core values: outspoken, in it together, entrepreneurial, raise the bar and makes you smile.

Our benefits (the icing on the cake)

At Tony's you will get the opportunity to be part of something extraordinary; first and foremost, by making real impact in the world but also enjoying the nice benefits we provide as you help us succeed. We’re dedicated to enabling all Tonys to grow and develop their careers and therefore we offer training programs, regular feedback cycles, coaching and a generous L&D budget. We also offer a wide range of additional benefits, including a luxurious vega-lunch, company bonus, minimum of 28 holidays, inspirational team updates, unforgettable events and unlimited chocolate. But we also know chocolate won’t cover the bills, so we’ve made sure your salary is just as rewarding, for this role that means a salary between EUR 56k-69k on a yearly basis, including holiday pay. Unfortunately for this position we're not able to support with a relocation or sponsoring a work visa in the Netherlands.
