Senior Supply Planner

  • Hybrid

Job description

Why we are here
Tony’s Chocolonely is committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. We are an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example, demonstrating that ethical practices and success can go hand in hand. Through Tony's Open Chain (TOC), mission allies like Albert Heijn, Ben & Jerry's, Jokolade, and Aldi have embraced a fairer, more transparent supply chain for their chocolate too.

What you will do
As our new
Senior Supply Planner, you’ll help ensure Tony’s iconic bars are available for chocofans across Europe - on time, in full, and produced with care and efficiency You’ll own and steer short-term production planning for our large bars, the core of our business, making tradeoffs between service, stock, capacity and cost in a fast-growing, complex environment with shifting priorities, constraints and frequent lastminute changes. Together with internal and external factories, you shape production strategies and act as a senior sparring partner for Supply Chain, Operations and Commercial stakeholders. You support new product development and lead the supply planning side of new launches, ensuring new bars are production-ready, scalable and smoothly embedded into the existing plan.

As the key user for our planning system Jedox,  you set planning standards, make system related tradeoff decisions, and contribute to the team's planning consistently and reliably across Europe. Alongside day‑to‑day planning, you continuously take ownership and lead improvement initiatives that strengthen planning, collaboration and performance.

All wrapped up

  • Take ownership of the short‑term production plan for Tony’s bars, ensuring great customer service while thoughtfully managing capacity constraints and production risks (weekly CFR).

  • Manage finished product and material stock levels, keeping stock cover within agreed ranges and finding the right balance between availability, cash and waste.

  • Own and improve production strategies and planning parameters (e.g. cycle times, lot sizes, capacity assumptions and safety stocks), strengthening service reliability, flexibility and cost efficiency across categories.

  • Act as key user for Jedox: set planning standards, support consistent use across the team, and work with implementation partners on system improvements.

  • Own monthly planning scorecards, align root causes together with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, and turn insights into practical improvement actions.

  • Work closely with internal and external production partners as a senior supply chain counterpart, helping the team move forward together.

Job requirements

Our new flavor:

  • Relevant experience in supply chain or production planning, ideally within FMCG (food, cosmetics or similar).

  • A strategic mindset combined with hands‑on planning experience; you enjoy connecting the bigger picture with daily decisions.

  • Proven experience working with factories and production partners, including navigating constraints, setting priorities and making pragmatic decisions.

  • Curious with data and comfortable using insights to support decisions; strong Excel skills are a must.

  • Comfortable working in a growing, sometimes slightly chaotic environment - you notice what’s missing and take initiative to improve it.

  • Clear and thoughtful communicator with strong stakeholder skills across different teams and levels; experience with ERP or planning systems (Jedox or Business Central is a plus).

  • We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the office on average 3 days a week. More is fine too!

  • Believe wholeheartedly in Tony’s purpose. You live our core values: outspoken, in it together, entrepreneurial, raise the bar and makes you smile.

Our benefits (the icing on the cake)

At Tony's you will get the opportunity to be part of something extraordinary; first and foremost, by making real impact in the world but also enjoying the nice benefits we provide as you help us succeed. We’re dedicated to enabling all Tonys to grow and develop their careers and therefore we offer training programs, regular feedback cycles, coaching and a generous L&D budget. We also offer a wide range of additional benefits, including a luxurious vega-lunch, company bonus, minimum of 28 holidays, inspirational team updates, unforgettable events and unlimited chocolate. But we also know chocolate won’t cover the bills, so we’ve made sure your salary is just as rewarding, for this role that means a salary between EUR 56k-70k on a yearly basis, including holiday pay.

Sounds like you?

Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Look no further! If you're ready to take the chocolate industry to new heights with us, we'd love to hear from you! Please send your direct application, no agencies. We can't wait to hear from you!
