What you will do
We are looking for a new Operations Manager to join our factory team in Borsbeek, Belgium. In this role your main goal is leading and developing our production and factory organization and team. You ensure a safe, high-quality, and efficient production and logistics environment in which people management, continuous improvement, OPEX management, and strategic management are central. The goal is a high-performance factory in which employees improve a bit by bit every day and contribute to Tony’s mission!

· Inspiring, motivating, and coaching production teams and team leaders, to create a culture of safety, quality, and ownership.
· Achieving production volumes according to plan, with maximum safety and quality.
· Monitoring and improving KPIs such as OEE, yield, cost per ton, delivery reliability.
· Ensuring compliance with all legal and internal regulations (food safety, health and safety, environment).
· Translating the factory strategy into operational objectives and annual plans.
· Managing the OPEX budget: drawing up, monitoring, and achieving financial objectives.
· Supporting and leading improvement programs based on Lean and TPM methodologies.
· Ensuring a safe working environment and compliant processes for all employees and contractors.
Job requirements
Minimum 5 years seniority in a Production Lead role and a preference of minimum 3 years in the food industry.
Proven track record in people management (developing teams)
You are a clear communicator and fluent in Dutch/Flemish.
Experienced in continuous improvement (Lean, TPM, OEE) and project management skills
Experience in managing budgets, OPEX management and financial management.
Analytical skills and problem-solving thinking
Knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field of the food industry
Microsoft office, knowledge of Aptean is a plus
You are comfortable working fully from our factory in Borsbeek, Belgium.
