What you will do
We are looking for a new Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Manager to join our factory team in Borsbeek, Belgium. In this role your main goal is to ensure the liability and availability of machines and installations through an effective maintenance policy. You will be the one initiating and implementing improvement projects focusing on operational excellence, cost control, and sustainable growth.
You will be responsible for the efficient management of our factory facilities. You will lead three direct reports and have a direct reporting line to the Factory Director. All wrapped up
Develop, implement, and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance plans for the factory facilities. You monitor KPIs related to downtime, maintenance costs, and asset reliability.
Plan, execute, and supervise continuous improvement projects from start to finish. You identify improvements opportunities in process optimization and cost reduction, manage budgets, and communicate clearly with key stakeholders.
Oversee the daily maintenance of the buildings, technical installations, and infrastructure. You plan and carry out periodic inspections and preventive facility maintenance.
Manage and coach the maintenance and facility team and involved project teams. You motivate and develop employees and collaborate smoothly with other departments, such as production, engineering, and supply chain, to achieve common goals.
Help ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of quality and food safety systems and culture.
Job requirements
Our ideal New Edition
You are a technical maintenance lead with experience, ideally in the food industry.
You have demonstrated experience in successfully driving significant improvement projects in mechanical facilities.
You have solid leadership skills and know how to influence stakeholders effectively.
You are a clear communicator and fluent in Dutch/Flemish.
You have knowledge about legislation and regulations in the field of safety and sustainability.
You are familiar with facility management software and ERP systems.
You are comfortable working fully from our factory in Borsbeek, Belgium.
