We're excited to announce an opening for a Logistics Manager to join our dynamic North America Operations team! As we accelerate our growth in North America, we’re expanding our logistics network with a focus on optimization, and this is your chance to be a pivotal player in our next growth phase within the chocolate industry.


In this role, you'll focus on setting the strategy for logistics management in North America, with a primary focus on the US, including setting and managing the logistics budget, managing 3PL contracting, and identifying and running optimization and continuous improvement projects.


We’re seeking a candidate with a strong background managing 3PL and transportation networks and extensive experience in budgeting and utilizing data analytics to drive continuous improvement.

What you will do:


  • You will develop the US logistics strategy, providing direction on optimal setups and analyzing logistics spend to bring visibility and influence decision-making at the customer, product, and network levels.
  • You will build and manage the US logistics budget, monitoring and providing guidance to the business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • You will implement changes to the 3PL network as needed and manage 3PL contracts ongoing, monitoring performance in collaboration with the Commercial Operations team, driving improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to SLAs and customer service level commitments.
  • You will analyze the US logistics network to clearly identify optimization opportunities, working in close collaboration with cross-functional operations, sales, and finance business partners, as well as external stakeholders, to demonstrate the savings and efficiency-improvement opportunities and build implementation plans for each proposal.
  • You will lead and execute the continuous improvement projects, as identified and agreed upon with the broader business, and report on savings and efficiency improvements. Besides the above-mentioned teams, this could include working with Tony’s IT & BI team on enhanced reporting for greater data visibility and cost control.
  • You will set the logistics strategy for Tony’s expansion into other North American markets, in alignment with potential market expansion strategy, ensuring Tony’s is set up for logistical success when entering new markets and implementing the logistics activities together with the Commercial Operations team.

Job requirements


      • Previous experience in a supply chain logistics role for a CPG company, including deep understanding of warehousing and transportation within CPG (preferably food/beverage).
      • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing relationships with 3PLs, responsible for contracting, SLA monitoring, and invoice evaluation.
      • Extensive experience setting detailed budget plans, and managing the business toward those budgets, evaluating invoices, accruing monthly, and analyzing performance to report ongoing against budget.
      • Strong analytical background, comfortable utilizing multiple reporting systems including strong proficiency in excel, extrapolating and combining data to provide actionable business insights and drive continuous improvement projects.
      • Highly organized and proficient in change and project management, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities to improve logistical efficiency and positively impact the business, organize those projects, influence decision making, and execute well-run projects with limited resources.
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, finance, and IT teams, both internally and externally.
