What you will do

We are looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. Your main goal is to raise Tony’s Chocolonely visibility in the circa 200 stores you’re responsible for and have a positive effect of the sales orders in the West Götaland region. You will be the face of Tony’s in the region and work to improve yearly defined KPIs set for presence and distribution. You know how to create disruptive placements to make us look and feel like the number 1 brand in Sweden. With your outstanding negotiation skills, you persuade decision makers on store level to order Tony’s and place us with maximum visibility. You are the eyes and ears of Tony’s on the ground, always seeking new and exciting opportunities. You will report to Field Sales Lead, Nordics and collaborate with our Field Sales Representatives in Stockholm.

All wrapped up, you’re responsible for

  • Driving Visibility: In Sweden a lot of decisions are made instore. Therefore, your job is to make sure we get the attention we need. You do this by negotiating and managing how we look on the shelf and instore with managers. The goal is to place our products and trade marketing tools wherever it’s possible and sensible.

  • Generating volume: Make sure your stores are getting the motivation and arguments they need to order the “little extra.” This means you will be talking to decision makers to actively influence the amount ordered.

  • Developing your area: You will be the manager of your area. We will set targets on a yearly basis on the Field scorecard and your job will be to develop those. Make sure your fingerprint will be visible in every store!

  • Sales Blitz: Sweden is a big country, and it may be needed to travel in other cities and areas to help out others or just making a “blitz” together. Blitz basically means we “rush” trough certain cities & stores and areas together for high impact in short time.

  • Maximising visibility in stores: You are keen to identify where opportunities lie with each store and secure additional space. You constantly increase visibility with POS-materials and displays. You embody the values in front of customers to make Tony's their favorite brand and always aim to make people smile.

  • Sharing your knowledge: You will actively build cases and learn on the go. Insights from these activities will be shared with the whole team in order to improve the performance of the total business. You will actively seek out new and interesting displays by competitors and feedback to Tony’s. You know what is performing well in the category and where the opportunities lie for growth. You are an expert in current innovation, NPD, pricing and promotional strategies you see in store, communicating this back to the Field Team to help shape the wider business.

  • You are an incredibly customer-focused Field Sales Representative in the FMCG or the food & beverages industry and have a track record of building strong customer relationships.

  • Action oriented is your middle name and accountability is one of your top strengths – you take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm.

  • You enjoy making use of your negotiation skills, no deal escapes your persuasion! No matter how many times you hear "no”, your resilience gives you the ticket to the “yes” that counts!

  • You love it when you and the things around you move fast. Thinking about working in a high-speed growth environment makes your heart beat faster – you are a self-starter who doesn’t wait for instructions, but you like to proactively think and act for yourself.

  • Fluent Swedish language skills are absolutely required in this role and a basic level of English is required too.

  • A car driver’s license is another must, speaks for itself.

  • You’re living in or close to Gothenburg.
