What you will do
We are looking for a new Digital Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team based in Amsterdam. Your #1 goal will be to increase online engagement, interactions, and community growth by leading Tony’s presence across our owned digital platforms in the Benelux region.
You’ll do this by creating bold, value-driven content that fuels our mission and sparks meaningful conversations with our Chocofans. You'll work across social media, email, and other digital channels—always in the typical Tony’s way: outspoken, innovative, and never boring. You help us stand out, not blend in. Through digital storytelling, trendspotting, and smart collaborations, you’ll help sustain and strengthen Tony’s love brand presence online.
You’ll be a key part of the Benelux Marketing team and report directly to our Brand Campaign Manager. You’ll collaborate closely with the Homebase team in Amsterdam, our creative partners, and agencies across Europe.

You translate the Benelux marketing calendar into a bold, always-on digital content plan
You create or co-create engaging content—photo, video, copy—for social media, email, and other digital channels
You edit or brief video content, ensuring it matches the Tony’s tone and connects with our audience
You work closely with external creators, content partners, and digital agencies to deliver smart, local storytelling
You manage our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X), adapting global strategies to local needs, and working closely with our Choco Fan Care team to ensure tone of voice, responses, and community vibes are on point.
You’ll take the lead in responding to comments and tags, while our CFC team handles direct messages—together keeping our community engaged, supported, and inspired.
You co-own our email marketing content with the E-commerce and Homebase teams, helping us grow and engage our subscriber base
You support the Brand Campaign Manager by turning campaign strategies into content ideas that spark reach and engagement
You help with impactful gifting campaigns (think influencers, journalists, serious friends) that drive real buzz
You bring community insights back into the marketing team to help shape stronger, more relevant campaigns
You stay ahead of the curve—spotting trends on TikTok, Instagram, AI tools, Pinterest, YouTube—and share inspiration with the wider team
Job requirements
Our perfect New Edition
You have solid experience in digital and content marketing, ideally with a strong focus on social media, email, and influencer campaigns. You know how to reach people at every stage of the marketing funnel, from sparking awareness to driving consideration and conversion.
3+ years of experience in content creation, with hands-on channel management and campaign execution
You’re comfortable creating or editing content across formats—especially visuals, social copy and video
You’re confident using tools like Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and familiar with scheduling platforms (Sprout Social is a plus)
You understand the nuances of paid campaigns and have experience working with digital or influencer agencies
You know what makes content perform—when to post, where to post, and how to optimize it for maximum impact
You’re organized, results-driven, and not afraid to measure what works (and tweak what doesn’t)
You adjust tone and style with ease depending on the platform and audience
You’re fluent in Dutch and English, and at home in an international, purpose-led environment
You love connecting with fans—community management isn’t a chore, it’s the fun part
