What you will do

We are looking for a new Digital Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team based in Hamburg. Your #1 goal will be to support Tony's growth within the DACH market by increasing online engagement and interactions via our online communications channels. You will be the one catching relevant trends, creating bold and innovating content from scratch, developing an inspiring social calendar, and delivering best-in-class community management. You will also be managing the influencer program, as well as digital content on our email communication and website.

You will be a crucial part of the DACH marketing team and report directly to the Head of Marketing DACH.

  • You develop and execute the paid, earned, and organic communications calendar across social media channels (Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok). You execute global and local campaigns, support the launch of new products, and continuously evolve content to maximize reach with customers.
  • You proactively create engaging, bold, and vibrant content, and strategically publish it across online touchpoints. Your storytelling skills will help build brand and issue awareness, creating a lasting impact on our growing community.
  • You make sure our web shop is up to date with our latest brand and mission information by writing blogs and statements. You work with our E-commerce sales team to ensure our online shop showcases our latest products and that the content is optimized for conversion.
  • You get to grow our media reach with strategic external partners, such as agencies. You continue to grow our influencer- and brand partner community, as well as maintaining current relationships. You execute impactful gifting campaigns to drive user-generated content.
  • You will act as the voice of our brand, fostering meaningful connections with our followers and brand advocates through exceptional community management. Monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring timely and authentic interactions.
  • You are our in-house social media expert. You stay on top of emerging social media trends and platforms, providing instant insights to seize content opportunities. Your role involves preparing monthly reports, analyzing campaign performance data, and offering deep community insights to shape our communications strategy. Your collaboration with the social leads from other Tony’s markets nurtures a knowledge transfer and allows you to apply insights to the DACH market.

Job requirements

Our New Edition

  • You have solid experience in digital/social media marketing – particularly TikTok and Instagram. Your passion, curiosity and drive to learn more about the digital landscape is unparalleled.
  • Experience in using video editing software, Adobe Suite and scheduling software is a strong preference, so do let us know which programs you are confident using.
  • Confidence running paid campaigns on Instagram and TikTok.
  • You are bursting with creative and innovative ideas to elevate our owned channels.
  • You are organized and smoothly juggle multiple tasks effortlessly.
  • You excel at adjusting tone of voice, language, and the brand story depending on the communication channel and audience. You have a keen eye for detail, and you spot typos from a mile away.
  • You love connecting with fans via social media – it gives you energy vs being something you ‘have to do’.
  • Since you will collaborate with clients based in the German region, your German language skills are fluent. You are also part of an international Tony’s team, so you are comfortable with English.
