B2B & B2C Digital Marketing Manager

  • Hybrid

Job description

Why we are here

Tony's Chocolonely is committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. We are an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example, demonstrating that ethical practices and success can go hand in hand. Through Tony's Open Chain (TOC), mission allies like Albert Heijn, Ben & Jerry's, Jokolade, and Aldi have embraced a fairer, more transparent supply chain for their chocolate too.

What you will do

B2B and B2C ecommerce is a fast-growing and strategically important part of the Tony’s Chocolonely UK business and digital marketing plays a crucial role in that growth. In a post High Fat Salt Sugar (HFSS) / Less Healthy Food (LHF) legislation world, our owned channels matter more than ever. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to execute and optimise our complete digital marketing campaign calendar across e-commerce, Amazon and B2B personalised products. This is a brand-new, hands-on execution role where you will plan, deliver, optimise and report on digital campaigns that turn strong brand storytelling into meaningful commercial impact. Your responsibilities will include maintaining our Shopify website, optimising for SEO/GEO/AEO, paid ads across LinkedIn and Meta and email marketing/CRM. The position is part of the UK Marketing team and reports to the Digital Communications Lead.

This is a brilliant role for someone who loves getting hands-on and wants to grow their craft across the full digital mix, with the Digital Communications Lead setting strategy and backing your development. It’s a hybrid role based in Richmond, London where we try to spend more days together than we do apart. Please note that this role does not include people management.

All wrapped up

  • With support from our global team, you will manage and continually improve the Tony's UK Shopify website, including product merchandising and ensuring new products and seasonal ranges are launched effectively.

  • Deliver and optimise SEO/GEO/AEO activity to drive sustainable organic website traffic to drive B2B and B2C e-commerce.

  • Build and deliver the CRM content calendar across B2C, B2B and reseller audiences, building and optimising email campaigns using first-party customer data, behaviours and preferences. We use Klaviyo at the moment and are migrating to Hubspot next year.

  • Drive growth and retention of Tony's email subscriber base through partnership campaigns and in person event-led lead generation.

  • Execute end-to-end campaigns on Amazon, including briefing our creative team, uploading content, product page enhancements and in-flight optimisation.

  • Deliver HFSS-compliant paid acquisition campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn and Google to drive growth for e-commerce and personalised chocolate products.

  • Manage internal and external content briefings for website, Amazon and campaign needs, ensuring consistency, quality and brand alignment.

  • Analyse performance across website, CRM, SEO and campaigns, translating data into clear recommendations and actions for key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with Homebase e-commerce, creative and global digital teams to align on strategy and execution.

  • You will also support our B2B personalised team ensuring they have what they need to execute a handful of in-person events every year.

Job requirements

Our new flavour:

  • Proven experience running digital campaign calendars with end-to-end execution across multiple channels.

  • Strong CRM and email marketing experience, including building campaigns, monitoring performance and optimising results. HubSpot experience a bonus.

  • SEO/GEO/AEO knowledge, with the ability to tweak and deliver content-led strategies that drive organic growth.

  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Google Analytics and experience crafting performance reports that translate into actionable recommendations.

  • Experience with or exposure to Amazon campaign management and product page optimisation.

  • Paid media knowledge across Meta, LinkedIn and Google, with the ability to support and optimise HFSS-compliant campaigns.

  • Comfortable in a hands-on execution role managing multiple channels and stakeholders simultaneously. This is not a pure strategy or people management position.

  • A creative problem solver who finds resourceful ways to drive awareness and conversion when traditional paid routes are restricted.

  • Believe wholeheartedly in Tony's purpose. You live our core values: outspoken, in it together, entrepreneurial, raise the bar and makes you smile.
