What you will do 

We want to accelerate our growth in Austria and thus look for a dedicated person working to grow our business in Austria. As our Key Account Manager Austria, you will join our DACH team and lead the growth of our business in Austria. As part of Tony’s impact-driven journey, your role will be critical in scaling our presence and influence in the Austrian market, growing our business from €3m to €10m+ while driving our mission of 100% exploitation free chocolate. 

In this newly created position, you will have full ownership of the Austrian market which come with a lot of freedom. We expect you to develop and implement commercial strategies while building strong relationships with key customers such as Spar and REWE. You will drive negotiations, oversee sales processes, and ensure operational alignment with our DACH and global teams. You will report directly to the Country Manager DACH and work remotely within Austria, with opportunities to build a team as the business grows. 
 

All wrapped up  

  • Develop and implement a long-term commercial strategy for Austria that aligns with Tony’s mission and growth goals. 

  • Build and maintain partnerships with key retailers like Spar and REWE, driving distribution, visibility, and sales. 

  • Collaborate with DACH marketing on impactful campaigns, displays, promotions and activations to enhance brand awareness and consumer engagement. 

  • Manage demand forecasting, budgeting processes, and delivery of key data to ensure operational excellence. 

  • Prepare for future scaling by laying the groundwork for a local team and coaching new talent as the business grows. 

Job requirements

Our perfect New Edition 

  • 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or commercial roles, ideally in FMCG, chocolate, or food industries. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with strong analytical and strategic planning skills. 

  • Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities. 

  • Proven success in developing and managing retail partnerships, preferably with Austrian retailers. 

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.
