E-commerce Manager


Job description

We're looking for an E-commerce Manager to join our DACH team in Hamburg! In this role, your goal is to drive the growth of our e-commerce business in the DACH market. This includes launching marketplaces and managing existing and new relationships with resellers, e-tailers, and Q-commerce, as well as streamlining processes in our own web shop.

Your expertise in building brands in online marketplaces will help us develop efficient operations, drive commercial growth, and improve customer satisfaction across digital channels. We have ambitious growth targets, which means that you get to make direct and significant impact!

You will report directly to the Head of Marketing DACH. You get to collaborate closely with the DACH commercial teams and the global digital team in Amsterdam.

What you'll do:

  • Leverage your knowledge of the dynamic e-commerce channels to further develop Tony's business across platforms. You will be responsible end-to-end for planning, content strategy, promotional campaigns, analytics, and achievement of revenue and margin targets.
  • Develop and nurture solid relationships with external e-commerce partners and resellers, ensuring they have all necessary tools and information to effectively drive Tony's brand and sales.
  • Manage sales negotiations and all activities around new product launches, including online marketing promotions.
  • Lead the launch on marketplaces by following the global strategy, including negotiation of terms, deciding on the portfolio mix, and capitalization on promotional opportunities to drive impact.
  • Develop and enhance our own DACH web shop with regular product assortment updates, promotions, and innovations. You get to spot and seize opportunities for optimizing the users’ online shopping experience.
  • Deliver valuable insights and recommendations to internal key stakeholders to continuously raise the bar. Your test-and-learn mentality makes you a true digital expert, and you share your learnings and ideas regularly with the wider DACH and global teams.

Job requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in building brands with e-commerce platforms in the DACH area, including Amazon Vendor and Seller Central, Shopify, and Retailer marketplaces.
  • Proven experience in managing e-commerce development projects end-to-end, from setting requirements and budgets to testing and successful implementation.
  • Commercial key account management expertise. You know how to design and implement effective e-commerce sales strategies that drive rapid growth in various channels.
  • You can gather and analyze customer data to derive impactful insights and inform strategies.
  • Since you will collaborate with clients based in the German region, your German language skills are fluent. You are also part of an international Tony’s team, so you are comfortable with English.
