We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team based in Amsterdam!  Your #1 goal will be to increase the lifetime value of our (business) customers and to get 20-30% of our web shop revenue to come from retained customers.   


As our Marketing Automation Specialist you will be responsible for setting up our CRM strategies. The primary focus will be B2B marketing, making sure our leadfunnels and nurture campaigns are properly set up. In this role you will lead in, creating and managing marketing automation workflows, lead funnels/pipelines, providing actionable segments and tracking/analysing results. A secondary objective is maintaining our D2C automation flows. 

 
You'll be an integral part of our Digital & eCommerce team and report to the Platform Specialist helping us push the boundaries of what's possible in the chocolate industry.  In addition, you will collaborate closely with marketing managers and direct sales leads within Tony's.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a tech-savvy professional who wants to be part of something truly revolutionary! 
 

What you will do: 

  • Delivering our marketing automation plans, ensuring our activities align with the markets as well as with our B2B and Marketing strategies, working together with the B2B lead, Ecommerce lead(s) & platform specialist. 
  • Design and implement automated marketing workflows to nurture leads, drive customer engagement, and increase retention. 
  • Monitor key metrics like CLV, CRR, CSAT, NPS and CES and own reporting and insight sharing to the team. 
  • Setting up the necessary forms and triggers and crafting the e-mail content in accordance with the wishes of the direct sales leads. 
  • Setting up and optimizing feedback mechanisms for customers to feed back on their experiences, collecting and disseminating learnings among business stakeholders. 
  • Analyzing the database for high value opportunities with existing customers and delivering actionable segmented lists for local market teams to (e-mail) market to with personalized, relevant offers. 

Job requirements

The ideal candidate:  

  • Strong understanding of CRM & marketing automation strategies, customer segmentation, and (e-mail) marketing. 
  • Experience with B2B marketing & lifecycle campaigns. 
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), E-commerce platforms (Shopify experience is a plus) and marketing automation tools (Klaviyo experience is a plus). 
  • You can read and write SQL. 
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Email marketing best practices. 
  • You are a strong communicator and have prior experience in stakeholder management and within project management.
